MyDocSafe Legal & Compliance Documents
This page provides a single index to the principal legal, privacy, data-protection and service documents governing the use of MyDocSafe.
Different documents apply depending on how you use the service. For example, organisations using the MyDocSafe API should review the API Licence Terms in addition to the general Terms of Service.

The main contractual terms governing your use of MyDocSafe, including account responsibilities, use of the service, intellectual property and general legal provisions.
Additional terms for customers and developers using MyDocSafe API keys, API data or integrations. These cover permitted use, API limits, security responsibilities and licensing. MyDocSafe also publishes separate API documentation for developers.

Practical guidance explaining how features such as client portals, electronic forms, e-signatures, identity verification and document management can support customers with their UK GDPR and EU GDPR obligations. It is guidance rather than a substitute for customers' own legal advice.
Additional rules applying to messaging and communications sent using MyDocSafe, including appropriate use and responsibilities associated with electronic communications.
Service Level Agreement (SLA) | Defines agreed service levels, availability commitments, support arrangements and related service obligations. An SLA is currently associated with Enterprise arrangements rather than being listed as a general public legal document. Customers requiring an SLA should contact MyDocSafe to obtain the version applicable to their contract. |
Which documents should I read?
For most organisations using MyDocSafe, the core documents are the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
You should additionally review:
the Messaging Terms if you use MyDocSafe to send communications;
the API Licence Terms if you integrate your own systems with MyDocSafe;
the GDPR Guide if you are reviewing how MyDocSafe supports your data-protection obligations; and
your SLA if one forms part of your Enterprise or bespoke agreement.
These documents should be read together with any order form, proposal, pricing agreement or other contract agreed directly with DocSafe Limited.
Need a document for due diligence?
If your procurement, legal, security or compliance team requires a current copy of a document, an SLA, a data-residency statement or clarification about which terms apply to your account, please contact MyDocSafe through the in-app support route.
