To get started, go to Portals -> Select a specific portal -> Workflows, then open an existing workflow or create a new one.

1. Open the deadline settings
In the Workflow Editor, find the “Reminders & Deadlines” tab
2. Choose how the deadline is set
You can set the deadline in one of two ways:
A fixed calendar date — pick the exact day the workflow is due.
A number of days after you send it — for example, "due 7 days after sending". The clock starts automatically the moment you send, whether that's today or next Tuesday.
After selecting the format, click the “Save deadline” button to save the changes.
3. Send the workflow
Send the workflow as you normally would. If you chose days after sending, the deadline is calculated from the moment it goes out.
Optionally, you don't have to get the date right at this stage — you can change a deadline later (see below).
What you'll see next
Once a workflow has a deadline, you'll notice that overdue, due-today and due-tomorrow items are highlighted directly in your workflow lists, so you can see at a glance what needs attention.
Editing a deadline later
You don't need to reopen the whole record to change a date. You can edit it straight from the workflow's menu — click the 3-dots menu on the workflow, select the “Edit deadline” option, change it and you're done.
