1. Open the workflow in the editor
Go to Portals -> Open specific portal -> Workflows tab, then open an existing workflow or create a new one to open the Workflow Editor.
To create a new workflow, click the "+" button, then select "New workflow" option
2. Add the “Upload documents” step
In the Workflow Editor, click the "+" button and choose the “Upload documents” widget.
3. Tell what you need
Include detailed instructions so clients understand exactly what materials to submit and in what format.
Because your client can attach several files in one step, list everything you need here - for example proof of ID and proof of address - rather than adding a separate step for each document.
4. Save the step
Click the “Save” button to add the step to your workflow.
What happens next
When clients reach the upload step, they see your instructions and can attach files directly.
They can select more than one file at a time. Everything they've attached appears as a list, so they can check they've included all of it before moving on.
If they attach the wrong file, they can remove it with the "×" next to it and attach the right one.
