When you invite someone to a portal, the invitation stays Pending until they accept it. You can now choose how long pending invitations last before they are removed automatically, so old invitations don't pile up.
1. Open the Invitations settings
Click Portals, open the portal group, then click Settings > Invitations in the left-hand menu.
2. Set the invitation message
Use Invite new member message to write the message people receive with their invitation.
3. Choose when pending invitations are removed
In Remove pending invitations after, days, enter the number of days. The days are counted from when the invitation was sent or last reminded. A change applies to all pending invitations in the group, including ones already sent. Click Save.
4. Switch on reminders
Under Invitation reminders, switch on Send automatic reminder to chase people who haven't accepted yet. Because a reminder restarts the count, reminders and the removal period work together: set the period long enough for your reminders to do their job.
